Das Klima in Oslo ist in Anbetracht der nördlichen Lage der Stadt überraschend mild. Im Sommer herrschen meistens angenehme 20°C. Im Winter können die Temperaturen jedoch weit unter den Gefrierpunkt sinken. Die Winter sind dunkel mit wenigen Sonnenstunden, aber die kalte Jahreszeit hat dennoch ihre Reize - es gibt in der näheren Umgebung eine Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten, Skilanglauf und Abfahrtski zu betreiben.
